Brand new from Hornby. Fully loaded and packed locomotive from the factory; TXS sound, steam generator, diecast footplate and a flickering firebox glow right out of the box offering quite good value for money all things considered. Tested and working beautifully.
Complete and undamaged as a new item should be with sprung buffers and NEM couplings. Tender permanently coupled, the 21 pin chip and socket being housed in there.
Box a solid top opener, foam lined, with detail pack, instructions provided along with pipette for filling the steam generator.
This is a very impressive model and the steam function is outstanding, with a full head of steam in time with the cylinder beats that has to be seen to be fully appreciated.
Steam is just filled via a dropler pipe with water and each 4ml water fill usually lasts about 10 mins .
would make a superb Birthday or Retirement Gift,  PLEASE NOTE it does need a DCC controller to operate all the functions.
