Preowned, in excellent condition. Produced in China around 1994. split chassis type
A well priced entry level sound loco
Midland region express passenger loco, late era and with yellow band on cabside.
We now believe the loco is fitted with an Olivias 3.5v Stanier sound chip and although its pretty good its not in par by todays modern speaker quality at twice the price!.
The Loco is a very good runner at all speeds
Model is appears complete and undamaged with the chip wired into the tender, using a permanent wired feed which will have to be handled with great care.
The tender wheels at some point have been changed to accommodate the extra pick ups done well.
Couplings are Mainline type with sprung hook – very reliable.
Box is the type with opening flap on the front offering info and blueprint. In fair condition, plenty of corner and edge wear. No instructions or detail pack.
