Sure to be popular after it’s disappearance from the Hornby range a few years ago, the Clan is a light pacific based on the more well known 7MT ‘Britannia’ class loco designed by Robert Riddles. The Mixed Traffic Clans were used across the LMR network based at Carlisle and Polmadie Glasgow and are classified as 6P5F. Regularly used to work down to Liverpool Exchange and Manchester and often serviced at Newton Heath and Agecroft Depots.
Model is certainly up to par with the times with plenty of separately fitted detail and an excellent finish. DCC ready with a 6 pin socket and NEM coupling fitted, the model is fully compatible.

Please Note this new model is produced using the Cartzaghi fixed rear pony truck with floating bogie.
Box is the standard type for Hornby locos and includes instructions for servicing and DCC installation as well as detail pack.
