Hornby R3888 Floyd Class 56 Co-Co No.659 002 (THE EURO CONNECTION)

New model from Hornby. This model is the behemoth Class 56. Festooned wih detail and etched fan grills, this model has always been a pleaser. This special edition model is from the slowly growing Euro Conection range, protraying British locomotives as they appear across the channel. This class 56 is decorated in Floyd Zrt. livery and has served in Hungary alongside other ex-BR stock since arriving there in 2012.

It ran wonderfully when tested with some very well done directional lighting (no flickering to be seen!). All bits intact, DCC ready with 8 pin socket. Sprung buffers and NEM pockets, too.

Box is in very good nick with minor shelf wear. The barcode end has curved in sligtly but is still solid. Instructions and detail pack with a bunch of hoses and pipes is present.

Grab yourself something unique. Certainly an oddball that should be collectable in a few years.
