A stunning looking model and very hard to find now as many of the original batch were returned damaged due to the wrong box insert being fitted at the factory causing damage to the cab and tender.

This is the Original version and Not the current re tooled smoke lifting cowell version released during 2022

Preowned, in excellent very clean condition;  imperfect, please read and consider.

A very good runner, hasnt seen much use judging by the wheels so may require running in.

This locomotive was experimental and a bit of a rare sighting, later being rebuilt with a standard boiler over the marine boiler originally fitted.

The model has had some damage: the steps have been reglued and the clip on the front of the tender is broken. The screw mount within the tender is also reglued, meaning the tender body is easily removed. Please keep this in mind before ordering.

There is a tiny hair line crack in the right hand smoke deflector but even under a magnifying glass its not easy to spot.

Such fragility isn’t unheard of from these but with due care they are a very intimidating model with some serious presence; a sure crowd pleaser.

An otherwise lovely model; DCC ready with 8 pin socket and with sprung buffers. Tender wired and permanently coupled. Couplings are NEM.

Box is in good shape with minor marks, complete with instructions but no detail pack.
