A new release of the Bachmann class 37/4 model finished in EWS maroon and gold livery as 37418 named 'East Lancashire Railway'
The class 37/4 variant of the reliable class 37 is a refurbished locomotive equiped with an electric train supply generator for working with electrically heated and  air conditioned coaches. These locomotives continue to find work today on heritage railways and with special and tour trains on the national network. 37418 itself is curently based on the East Lancashire Railway at Bury.

The Bachmann class 37 model features a heavy diecast chassis block which contains the motor and flywheels which drive all six axles on both bogies, providing smooth running and plenty of weigfht for hauling realistic trains. The bodyshell has been carefully designed to reflect the details of the class 37/4 locomotives and changes made at refurbishment from the original 37 design.

Era 9 - post privatisation (& preserved).
DCC Ready, 21 pin decoder required for DCC operation. Sound ready. Directional and interior lighting. Optional etched nameplates.
